The tough and grippy hills of Lancashire have shaped many a pro rider - most recently Hugh Carthy and the Yates twins - who started out riding with the Bury Clarion club. Clarion Calling is a top, lumpy ride through east Lancashire tackling classic climbs like Nick O'Pendle, Cow Ark and Waddington Fell. Come and celebrate cycling culture by riding to the last remaining Clarion Refreshment House for a free mug of tea!
This is a self-sufficient, reliability-style ride - non-competitive with a friendly atmosphere run by cycling organisers.
